ABOUT US
Golden Fields Farm, nestled in the serene landscapes of Southern Vermont, has a rich history that dates back to the early 1900s when it was acquired by Fred Tarbell. What began as a family legacy has transcended generations, now being lovingly cared for by his granddaughter and great-granddaughter. Situated in the quaint town of Baltimore, characterized by dirt roads and a town hall open just one day a week, the farm is a hidden gem, tucked two miles up a dirt road in a picturesque valley.
Our mission at Golden Fields Farm is simple yet profound—to spread the love of Vermont. Dogs have been an integral part of our farm for generations, and we currently share our lives with four cherished golden retrievers.
Dedicated to preserving the calm and loving temperament of the AKC registered purebred golden retrievers, our dogs are raised inside our home from day one. Every member of our family plays a role in caring for and nurturing these pups, who become cherished members of our household for their first 10 weeks. Early exposure to potty training and basic manners sets the foundation for well-adjusted and happy dogs.
Our golden retrievers enjoy the best of both worlds—access to indoor and outdoor spaces, interactions with other dogs, and the joyous company of children. Placing our puppies in loving homes is a responsibility we take seriously. We maintain strong connections with families long after the adoption, fostering a community that shares the joy and love these wonderful dogs bring into our lives.
